Supported Projections

MapManager supports the selection of projections specified in the proj4 EPSG file. The list of the projections is categorised in the tree view of the Projection Browser Dialogue. All of the The geographic coordinate systems (like WGS84) are located within the 'Longitude-Latitude' category.

The EPSG file can be found in the /ProjLib subdirectory of the application directory. The file contains the projection name, the datum name and the corresponding proj4 definition which is stored internally in the generated map files. To change the parameters or add new projections, the EPSG file should be edited manually and MapManager should be restarted to make the changes available in the application.
